speaking of the 80s, as you know it was both a great time for me (lots of friends and outdoors) and a difficult one (racism, needless assholes). dealing with how rather meaningless and hairsprayed the culture in my 80s suburban NJ childhood was. it made me a little afraid: [formerly embedded video linked to: http://www.youtube.com/v/kCaJOgdA4fA ] i always felt my doom being precipitated by everyone in this video. the final march to end me happening similarly to 0:18 - 0:20 and 0:59 - 1:02 in this video.I used https://findyoutubevideo.thetechrobo.ca/ to try and find what video I was referring to. It came up with a link from archive.org of this image: Which after some detective work (no, it was not "U Got 2 Know" by Capella, it's not even an ostrich running through the desert, and it's not the ostrich-featuring "Out of Space" by the Prodigy in the early 90s) turned out to be a still from Talk Talk's "It's My Life". Which is great, but that's definitely not what I'm referring to. I'm not sure I've ever seen the video before, so I can't have "always" felt my doom being precipitated from it. Maybe it's a coincedence because I mentioned Talk Talk in the post. But what other video could it be with this "final march to end me" with those timestamps? I tried "You Give Love a Bad Name". It sort of works, but not really. To be continued...

The problem is I left so many gaddamn embedded videos on this blog that have been deleted/delisted with no trace of what they were. Weirdly, Youtube does not want to help you figure this out.
In my 2007 post No Easy Way Out, there is this:
